2: I am grateful for life

I am grateful to be living:

  •  to be able to breath the fresh fragrances around,
  •  to see and appreciate the beauty of nature, life and colors. (Be it happy or sad)
  • to listen and immerse in the music of our surroundings (Be it soft of loud)
  • to feel the touch of air and many other colorful sensations surrounding us
Life is full of ups and downs, colors and grays, happiness and frustrations.

No matter what we are experiencing, it's only the downs that will help us to appreciate the ups.

That is living.

1: I am grateful for life and love

This sparks the first blog for grateful listing, I hope this back to basic reflection will empower myself and any blog reader to spark a positive insight.

I am grateful to be blessed with a simple life and ability to love and share love.

With life, we are able to live, feel and love. With life, we are able to meet and interact with our loved ones. It's said that even living plants interact, however, I am thankful that we could do more, to love and feel love.

With love, we give and receive warmth. Even the simplest hug and gesture of care, could trigger a tinge of warmth and hope.

Let's take a short moment to breath, feel life and remind ourselves of the love and warmth we have exchanged today.

Prologue for 1000 Things I am grateful for

We are all born into a world with depleting resources. Earth, like any other planets, are constantly undergoing changes, every change in life form metamorphosis the earth tilting it's equilibrium and stirring yet another evolution.

With every increase in life forms, resources becomes increasingly scarce. Yes, this sounds gray, yet amidst what sounds seemingly a dark period, new light dawns sparking new ideas and inventions of resources.

This is an era where prices of resources are susceptible to fluctuations of supplies, consequently impacting our cost and standard of living. Many may lament, "Life is getting tough, as living cost is increasing yet job opportunities are thinning, else even if available, payout is reducing." There is so much for one to despair, yet it is all the more important for us to build a healthy perspective to internalize each day. Only then, can we breath new hopes and path our way to a positive future.

As a SAHM, tending to the needs of 3 children, cost of living can be a challenge, there is much to be worried for, tight budgeting, increasingly competitive educational standards and job market for the next generation and the list continues. Yet, there are many other things we could be thankful for, it's easy to just suggest anyone to "count our blessings", however to some, even this simple gesture could be tough, if one fails to even identify any.

Henceforth, I would like to start this blog to build a list of Thanks a day to remind myself of the positive things in life, as well as to anyone who encounters this blog.
